Product description

The layer battery cage has some components which help to perform specific duties with little or no stress such as an automatic feeding hopper which helps take chicken feed from a central hopper or a bin out to feed the birds continuously all day. The automatic egg collector’s conveyor belt takes the eggs to the header, the flexible fingers carefully place the eggs on a cross conveyor, which then take the eggs to the classifier room and this helps to reduce broken eggs

The broiler cages helps in better utilization of the space available and that is important especially when the lands are expensive. In addition, using broiler cage to raise broilers provide better hygienic condition that could lead to improving the health and quality of broilers. The mortality rate as well in is very low unlike other ways of keeping broilers

So many researches done has shown that raising broilers in  broiler cages could provide better production efficiency than raising broilers on the floor. Because of their differences boilers and layers cannot be reared in the same type of cage. Layer birds are reared in layer battery cage while broilers are reared in broiler cages

1. Layer can only be kept in their cage at the point of laying eggs while broilers can be kept in their cages right from a day old

3. The bottom net of layer battery cage is not flat while the bottom net of broiler cage is flat 

4. The broiler cages must be caged. This is necessary for preventing the chicken from running away and easy to feed, so the horizontally adjustable baffle in front of the cage and the adjustment range is larger than that of battery layer cage

5. Broiler cages does work with an egg collection system while layer battery cages works with it
